Factors that influence flight times

We all know how stressful it is when you have to get to a meeting in a distant place and you depend on the time your plane requires to reach the destination. Even if in most situations flight times are the same with the ones mentioned on the ticket, there are of course cases when this time is longer. Therefore, today we are going to present you some of the main factors that influence flight times and disturb your schedule.

As you can easily imagine, the time you reach the destination depends a lot on the time you depart and as the big airports tend to get more and more crowded, this can represent a problem in some cases. In addition, the planes can have some problems that have been noticed before takeoff and delays can appear while the technical staff tries to make the needed repairs.

However, even if the plane takes off at the right time, nobody can guarantee that it will reach the destination in the precise time. Why? Many things can happen while the plane is in air, starting with powerful winds and finishing with entering areas with dangerous storms. After all, remember that safety comes first, way before getting to the destination in time.

Delays can also appear before landing because there are situations when the landing strip is occupied and the plane needs to stay a couple more minutes in air, waiting for it to clear off.
